AWAKEN!
Yeah yeah, thread necromancy.
So, anyone who’s been following my posts a bit knows by now that my wife is a bit demanding when it comes to the look of alignment and installation.
She also definitely wants a completely black oven.
Are there any new insights four years later? I discovered something very expensive from Samsung and something cheaper from Amica.
, do you happen to know what brand was presented in your focus group?

Furthermore: What absolute special features should an oven (combination appliance) have nowadays in the modern kitchen? I have no space and probably no use for additional appliances, so if anything, it has to be integrated...

Oh, and which of the many (self-)cleaning functions (pyrolytic, hydro, catalysis) have really proven themselves in everyday use?

Thanks and regards

Then just take a look on Black Friday :D …hehe…

Phew, that was 5 years ago. My husband says Miele!
And here you go (no idea if that was the stove):

Brrr corpse ransacker :)

We now have a BSH device with a completely black front. Not specially chosen, it was simply the device that appealed the most in terms of functions.

Does what it’s supposed to and looks good. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

So which one exactly? And Costa quanta? Which function was particularly important?

Bosch accent line is completely black. You have the choice: oven only, oven with integrated microwave, oven with microwave and steam burst, oven with steam cooking function. I find the last two functions interesting, but it depends on what you need and how you cook/bake. I have an oven with microwave and steam burst from Siemens. You can also regenerate food (i.e., warm it with steam), which I like to use; my husband prefers to use the microwave for that. I also find the addition of steam great for baking or roasting. The oven still looks like new thanks to pyrolysis. Sometimes I wish I had an additional steam cooking function, which my previous appliance had.

Bosch HRG8769C7

It was not only one function that was important but the overall package.
That is: steam, pyrolysis, 5 levels, baking sensor, soft-close, Homeconnect, roasting thermometer... and a few other little things for comfort reasons.

Sure, none of it is essential and a standard oven would also be sufficient, but in our case this oven hits several birds with one stone. The completely black front was not necessarily desired, but we are not opposed to it either.
