So I installed two patio roofs this year, both kits, one from Home de Luxe for about €1000 and one from Palram for about €1400 including transport to Austria. Both approximately 3 x 5.50m in size. The cheaper roof had a plastic twin wall sheet only 6mm thick, which is not really usable with snow. The open edges must be sealed separately!! Assembly instructions were okay, but still quite an effort. There are also differences in Palram: the Feria model has a snow load of 150kg, wind about 120 km/h, and the Sierra model less. The plastic twin wall sheet here is 8mm thick and the special thing is that it is welded all around, so no dirt gets in. In addition, on the long side there is a lip that you simply tap into the profile. Brilliant! Installation time for unskilled persons, with some technical understanding, a bit more than 6 hours with a finished foundation. Assembling the twin wall sheets takes about 40 minutes of that. Looks good, is stable, inexpensive, and quickly assembled. Delivery from the Netherlands.
