So the structural analysis is 2 to 3 days of work for a single-family house. More than 1500 euros I would rather call a rip-off and not unappreciated working time.

500 euros a day for a freelancer is not as much as it sounds. Even some hairdressers reach such an amount. A painting company is often just breaking even at these 60 euros/hour.

And they also don't have to be liable for life, limb, and six-figure sums!

depends on the house.. town villa from the catalog is manageable, but formwork and reinforcement plans don't draw themselves. Coordination is sometimes also necessary...

With a custom-designed house that goes beyond 4 walls and a roof, you can forget about doing it in 2-3 days, unless you just don't care and write a DIN-A4 page with general assumptions.

The HOAI fee is not for fun and even that is actually already too low. For a 200m² single-family house with 3 corners and 5 edges, the fee is about 25k€.

With us 2320 euros for a custom-designed architect's house (160m² living area + double garage)

A structural engineer can of course always make general assumptions and thus dimension larger than would actually be necessary with precise recalculations. This way, the structural analysis will be quick and cheap, but the costs will be correspondingly higher due to the additional beams, load-bearing walls, and more steel reinforcement.
