Bafa funding for heat pumps will be discontinued as of 31.12.2020.

Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me. I applied for our funding yesterday and was under the impression that it said at the beginning that you receive a confirmation email after the application. However, I have not received one, did you get one immediately after applying, or only at some later point? Best regards and thank you very much.

The confirmation came to me quite promptly after the application.

Yes, it was only a few minutes after application. I believe calling is currently difficult (hotline apparently disconnected according to statements in this thread). First, I received a confirmation of receipt with a link to a print view (presumably what you could also print out directly? Title: "Application for funding of measures for the use of renewable energies in the heat market" including all the data you entered). Then about 20-30 minutes later, a separate email with the confirmation of receipt including the transaction number.

However, I cannot tell you whether it is safer to submit the application again and, if necessary, cancel the previous one. Maybe someone else who had the same problem will chime in.

I just hope that BAfA will be as helpful with this oversight as, for example, with a subsequent change to the heat pump.
If not, and the BAfA application can no longer be changed or newly created from 1.1.2021 onwards, then I will probably have to live with this error. It is annoying, but it won't be the last one.

Good news for everyone who might also be worried. After my mistake, I sent a message to Bafa via the contact form with my application number. I was then asked by mail to correct the numbers again.
I did that, and today I received an email that the application has been approved, the grant notice will come by mail next week, and they apologized for the delay.

I actually find the processing time of 5 weeks including Christmas very good.

Let 2021 continue like this.

The notice by mail was only issued due to the correction, right?
