If I were you, I would put a tall cabinet row on the lower side of the plan and then plan a two-row kitchen with a peninsula. That way, you could cook facing the guests and the door to the terrace could be between the rows. The upper short wall would then of course have to be completely removed.

With an "open" kitchen, you always have the "problem" that you can see from the dining table into the kitchen... But you have that with a "dining kitchen" as well.
If you have nice tall cabinets, then you will probably soon not even miss the wall cabinets. I could also imagine that you could simply store all the dishes and glasses on the back side of the peninsula, facing the dining table.

Have a similar floor plan with an open kitchen. We are also considering installing a glass sliding door that can be slid shut as needed. So guests don't see any possible mess in the kitchen. According to our research, that costs about €3000 more (if it is supposed to look reasonably good). And you need the wall edges for that. Best regards Nadin

In the case of Bieber, however, the wall panels are not sufficient And, glass doors to make chaos invisible?

That works really well ☺. We have a printed one that lets light through but no kitchen chaos. I had already photographed it here for a similar post. Let's see if I can find it that quickly. By the way, our glass sliding door did not cost 3000€. However, it runs on the wall and not into the wall.

@ , would you happen to feel like uploading a new photo that shows just a little bit more? At first glance, I find it very well done, although you need the space on the wall.

Our favorite is the partially open version with a wall at the bottom of the floor plan and open at the top. The exit to the terrace is centered in the living-dining area. Only one exterior door is desired here.

The kitchen planning is still pending, we have to see.

What exactly would you like to see? If possible, I will photograph the desired perspective again this evening. Now I first have to earn the mortgage payment.
