I was told that you apply for the funding yourself and the bank has nothing to do with it if you only want the grant without a loan. The sequence is of course still nonsensical like so many things.

Can someone say if I receive the new funding for construction supervision if I commission the construction supervision before [1.7.] in order to get help, for example, with the planning contract?

Or does the contract signing also have to be after [1.7.]?

Alternatively: Is the old "construction supervision funding" (until [30.6.]) combinable with the new subsidy for the [Kfw40+] house (valid from [1.7.])?

Background of the question:

I want to apply for the new subsidy funding without a loan as soon as possible after the start on [1.7.], but I need the construction supervisor earlier as support to plan everything.

Old and new programs cannot be combined. For the topic of construction supervision, just call the KfW hotline. They are nice and happy to help. If you need something you can refer to later, write an email to the KfW hotline, we did the same.

... just did that and was told that a construction supervisor (i.e., construction-accompanying quality monitoring) is not eligible for funding, but only the energy consultant (mandatory for KfW 40+). It sounded different on the internet and also strange that it is eligible for up to 10,000 euros – the energy consultant doesn’t cost that much. I hope that was not incorrect information.

Can someone explain how it works if I want to apply for funding for the energy consultant (the one who probably does all the calculations)? The lady on the phone said that this is automatically included in the funding (new grant model from 1.7.), but then why is it listed as a separate funding program?

So an energy consultant who then also accompanies the construction site can very well cost €10,000 or more? He can also accompany the construction project on site, but he mainly checks whether the company actually installed what he calculated. For example, he can also perform the BlowerDoor test. However, he is not a construction supervisor like, for example, from Dekra or something.
