Silly question, but what is wrong with the windows if the house length (not width) is extended by 1 meter? That will be adjusted so that there is visually no difference from the original situation. The hallway actually has a certain spaciousness... because we want it that way. It is a connecting element to upstairs and downstairs and to all rooms. I find small entrance halls awful. Hmm, we'll have to tinker with that a bit more. When you stand inside the house itself (again, it is empty, no visual enhancements through styled living furnishings) you are really surprised how the openness and precisely this hallway suggest spaciousness. It is bright and friendly and very inviting through the double door away from the hallway.

So, at the moment our draft looks like this (not a professional drawing!!). The stove in the living room is not correct like this, it is much smaller in reality than drawn, and the TV is of course not that big, it only represents the total length of the living room cabinet.
What do you think? Are we overlooking a major mistake in the floor plan, or does it fit? We have already been inside this floor plan and we just liked it. Still, I want to hear your opinion. I have omitted the basement for now.

P.s: (11m x 8.3m) House entrance = North

Hello,

I don't think the floor plans are bad in principle, but I would reconsider the following points:

- Double-leaf door to the living room - Do you really need it? My parents have such a door in their house for about 40 years. It is always open and therefore always somehow in the way. In our house, we simply left out the doors and have just an open passage.

- Dressing room: Do you really need the wall to the bedroom there? In my opinion, it just takes up unnecessary space. We separate our dressing area from the sleeping area with a built-in wardrobe by the carpenter.

- Bathroom in the attic: You should reconsider the basic layout here. I find both the position of the bathtub and the T-layout somewhat unfortunate...

Regards,

Dirk

Thank you for your ideas, Dirk! We actually didn't plan on having a walk-in closet at first, but I must admit that things are very "messy" with us. Therefore, I would like to have a lockable room, a clothes storage room so to speak the double door is something you can really consider. We liked it because it looks so inviting when you come in through the front door. But we will reconsider it! Upstairs the bathroom...yes...a real problem child :/

A dimension and the north arrow are missing.

The staircase appears to be drawn differently on the ground floor and the upper floor, and on the ground floor it appears too small, which could cause the entire plan to fail.

Then the 2m line is missing on the upper floor and the roof orientation.

I think that is because the floor plans were not uploaded here in the identical size. If it should be to scale, the attic is actually larger than the ground floor.

North is on the right in the plan:

Roof orientation and 2 m line would definitely be helpful, especially for the bathroom...
