These are already very valuable tips. Thank you! We simply weren’t aware of the issue with the bed until now. Since this opinion has been shared here several times, it’s no problem to just change it. I can understand the reason behind it. Thanks for that. The tip with the two windows (possibly floor-to-ceiling on the left and right of the bed) at the bottom of the plan and the bed also at the bottom of the plan is not bad. But from the outside (arrangement of the windows), in my opinion, it no longer looks harmonious.

Can you imagine rearranging the bathroom in the way shown (see sketch)? Sorry, of course nothing is correct regarding the measurements here, just a thought. I would shift the window slightly toward the top of the plan. Make the bathtub bigger, swap the shower with the cabinet, and place the toilet between the (then smaller) cabinet and the bathtub. The room dimensions were visible at the top in my second-to-last post in the second file, right?!

I see, said the blind man. Only had the first sketch on the go. I find the last suggestion the best so far.

One more point regarding the dressing room, the lower wall panel with the 3.01 m dimension - presumably in the shell construction. If the usual wardrobe with 3 m is supposed to be placed there later, a few centimeters will be missing including plaster and baseboard. Therefore, it is better to plan with at least 3.10 m in the shell construction.

The plan above for the bathroom seems to show the wall even shorter.

Here is another suggestion. Bathroom a bit bigger, move the door, shift the dressing room slightly towards the bedroom. Door in the dressing room further forward, then you also get a 3 m closet on the second side. The window above the bed could have a high sill height like the kitchen, then the exterior view would also be correct. The bed would definitely be better placed this way because it then has more space on the left and right. Windows in the bathroom would have to be moved. Space for a large shower and large bathtub.

Well, you are reliable

Regarding the bed: just as Kerstin explained it. It is also very pleasant to look at the bed and see it as a whole with the head area, that is, from the foot end.
I don’t like it at all and would have simply suggested, without a sketch, to swap the shower and the tub, moving the tub away from the entrance area so that one can also relax a bit. Washbasins next to the dressing wall beside the toilet.

However, perhaps I would also try to arrange a kind of guest WC at the front of the bathroom, that is, toilet and washbasin, and generally place the private area at the back. The upper floor is none of our business?

Basically though: I would not ruin the middle of the house with a storage room just for feng shui reasons; but the main reason is that it is quite uncomfortable to have to walk around this element. For me, the direct entrance path into the home always belongs to the kitchen (here directly after the stairs), and not once around a room that plays a completely subordinate role. There will be daily frustration about tearing down this damn thing so that you don’t always have to walk this loop, and on top of that through the living room.

Before I move, reduce, or move the storage room to the exterior wall, I would swap living room and kitchen; the kitchen belongs on the terrace with ground contact. The living room doesn’t need access to the garden!

Is there a north arrow? Unfortunately, I can’t see one on the iPad.

Thank you very much for your opinion. How do you come to this conclusion? Did someone shout this from the mountain 2,000 years ago or carve it into a stone tablet? For me, it would be very unpleasant if guests had to go through or past the kitchen to get to the living room or dining room. Of course, this is an open kitchen here as well. But (at least we do it this way), we let the guests sit in the living room with the children and take care of the battlefield in the kitchen. The kitchen / the directly adjacent dining room in our plans has a direct view of the courtyard, in the direction of the street where our children will often be. I spend several hours in the kitchen preparing something. I like to have an overview of what’s going on (postman arrives, guests arrive, children playing, weather development in summer --> thunderstorms). Could you give me a few arguments for your statement? On the house wall where the staircase and the living room (at the top of the plan) are located, there is a forest. The hill rises there and many trees stand. I don’t want to have a kitchen there where I spend a lot of time. We usually only sit in the living room when we watch TV or play with the children. And 90% of the evening my wife sits there in front of the TV while I sit on the terrace with my laptop. I currently enjoy that in our apartment I can still talk to my wife while she’s sitting on the couch reading or watching TV. The living room facing the forest also offers us the opportunity to be undisturbed. Facing the front towards the other residential houses makes no sense to me. But you didn’t have this info in that case beforehand.

The storage room is meant less as a storage room and more as a pantry / beverage storage. Here I only see the single argument that I have to walk a longer distance after shopping. But in our case, the pantry will only be entered when cooking or bringing new drinks to guests at the dining table.

A few more attachments might perhaps clarify the dark overall picture
