I once saw a kitchen documentary on TV. There, a carpenter compared Ikea carcasses with another kitchen brand (I think Nolte) and could not find any quality differences.

Best regards

The carcass itself is basically pressed hamster bedding everywhere. The drawers, fittings, coatings, etc. make the difference. The salesperson even stood inside the Häcker drawer to demonstrate its stability. If you just lean a little harder on drawers from other manufacturers, they almost give way... You often have a kitchen for 15 years or more, so paying attention to quality is not wrong in my opinion. However, you do have to set priorities. Just piling earth under the house and having the rest of the property a construction pit, but a 75" 4K TV, an expensive kitchen, and a Rolf Benz sofa just don’t fit together...

Hi, so the weekend came with good news.

1. The building permit finally arrived, or rather, there was no objection to the permit-free procedure.

So it means it will start in about 6 weeks.

2. I found a company that has already filled a plot of land in our new development area, on which a house already stands.
And they also delivered the soil for our neighbor.
We will get the soil, Z0, and also delivery from them for free.
For the installation and compaction, he estimates about 2000-2500€, he still has to calculate that exactly.
He will also make us an offer in the next few days, stating what he charges for everything, including 30cm of topsoil for the garden and about 30cm of gravel with installation under the house.

3. Today, the city’s notification arrived for the family support program, where we now receive the first half, namely 5000€, and upon moving in, the next 5000€.

The weekend is at least brightened up.
Now we just have to decide whether to have it compacted or do it ourselves.

If he does it for 2000.-, then let him do it! If there is an invoice, for exterior or garden installations, as far as I know, labor costs, I mean about 1000.-, can be deducted from taxes

This does not apply to a new building. As far as I know, you have to at least already be living in the house to be able to apply such things.

Without having read the last 10 pages, I do not understand why the material should not be included in the offer. Delivery unquestionably and legally securely means that the material is included in the costs. It is also not unreasonable that Z0 is free of charge; especially larger civil engineering companies are glad when they can get rid of that stuff somewhere for free.
