Of course... how could we ever doubt ;)
Twice I... but you ask us. Those who know nothing except that there is no plan yet.

How should we know that? Everyone sees themselves as an exception ;)

No.
Let it be that there are restrictions on the property, e.g. the technical room must be connected at the very front or the building window is relatively narrow.
But the lady wants the kitchen towards the street, so it can happen that the rooms get a different layout in the house.

We are open to sketches and plans, sometimes even to pipe dreams, but you show us furniture, not rooms :)

Yes and no (not yet). ;)
I grew up in the countryside and my parents have a very large plot (>2500m²).
Accordingly, I am not a fan of 500m² plots where the neighbor can hear you fart.
We don’t want to build a house just to have one, but above all to also have our own land around it.

Certainly, however, the house does not need to become unnecessarily large. Although we are both employed, we’re not exactly rolling in money. ^^

As I said, the plot will be sufficiently large. So I don’t think there will be any problems, or is the building envelope also restricted to only 20x10m even on a 2-hectare plot? So far, I thought that the building envelope mainly depends on how small the plot is and then enough building clearance to the neighbor and the building line, i.e. the alignment of the other houses, must be observed.

As I said, in my opinion I have described everything important to the question. It was not about the entire floor plan, etc. I rather have the feeling that first everything else was questioned, but the actual question was not addressed. It is true, there were good hints, but no solution proposal was given for the question asked. I hope you don’t take it amiss, but that’s how it seems to me.

Such a thing exists? I didn’t know that, for example.

That plays no role regarding the question. It was solely about the arrangement of the living room, kitchen including dining table and fireplace in relation to each other. How that is then reconciled with the rest (rotation/mirroring etc.) is another matter.

Yes, because as I said I didn’t come to any solution. The drawing only served to show which furniture needs to be accommodated. So the sizes and proportions are clear.

Nevertheless, many thanks for the previous hints.

You don’t understand. The arrangement of the rooms can be completely different if, for example, requirements or windows and building boundaries on your narrow side of the property do not allow it to be the way you imagine now.

The rest, as you call it, is in this case the basis of everything. The arrangement of the rooms must be considered as a whole.

It is the same as if I ask you what engine my new car should have, but I don’t reveal the brand and I don’t yet know my driving habits or the routes I have to drive because I am changing my job.

why do you think ?

I have understood that now as well. But I want and should start with the floor plan now. Because everything else depends on it (especially regarding smart home). And it is also clear that a lot will change during the planning process. As I said, you have to start somewhere.

In the end, yes, but you have to start somewhere. And since we spend most of the time in the requested rooms, I prefer to build all the others around these two or plan them accordingly.

No .. things like that exist ;-) ... If what you have drawn is to be arranged in a somewhat sensible way, you need an interior house width of about 11 to 12 m .. as I said, interior width.

And, there are many more concepts ... e.g. living as one room and eating/cooking as the second room, because at the latest when the food is carried to the table, the dining room also smells like food ;).

So, if you consider living and eating/cooking as 2 separate rooms, for example, you could equip them with a fireplace integrated into the partition wall, etc.

But without a site plan and further data, you just can't make a "room" like that and move partition walls around. Really *shakes head*.
