Yes, it is a problem of lack of space, some have already suggested here to narrow the kitchen,
Well, you also have to keep things in perspective. If there was more space, I would also recommend more storage. With this floor plan, you just have to make some compromises. And yes: such a kitchen is sufficient. It’s a bit cramped, but it’s enough. Our kitchen also doesn’t have more storage and there are six of us.
Regardless, we will also plan for more space in our next kitchen.
That’s it! I was already advised here,

First of all, in general, the kitchen in the floor plan is just a sample; this will only be decided in the construction contract. That’s why the architect left it as is; it doesn’t matter. However, I took the measurements and already went to the kitchen planning to see how much fits. The kitchen is planned as I posted later.
I have to say the kitchen planners were very good; they also offered me more cabinets, where the cabinet next to the oven was higher. Basically, this meant that the pantry cabinet, the small one on the very left, would be omitted, and instead, there would be a tall large cabinet between the oven and the fridge. I’ll show you the picture in a moment, but then I would be missing 30 or 40 cm of countertop space, and it looked too crowded to me. But I also lack space.
The problem is, I don’t have much more space... I was already advised to narrow the kitchen for the cloakroom, but I don’t want to do that because there should be a small dining table in there. For everyday life, I want to eat in the kitchen with the kids and my husband... I find that practical!
The only possibility would be to move the kitchen door to the left so that there are cabinets behind the door as well, or to do it as shown in the floor plan. But a shoe cabinet is supposed to go into the hallway. Then the wall would be missing, which is bad. Therefore, the door stays there.
I also want to have a large freezer compartment. In the storage room, a freezer compartment should go in; one wouldn’t fit in the kitchen, and built-in appliances are too expensive. The combo freezer compartment is way too small for me. So the pantry: freezer compartment, shelf for supplies, vacuum cleaner, and cleaning supplies, although I thought that might also go upstairs in the utility room, but we’ll see, and the cloakroom in there. For the cloakroom, I will use the right wall in the pantry, simple hooks, possibly also on the door and on the wall on the right. The rest of the space for the other things... I still have to measure what fits in there... in what size, but I don’t have many alternatives; I have to take what the space allows.
The only thing I can still change is that the window in the kitchen is placed in the middle. If I move it further toward the kitchen cabinets, meaning further to the right, I would have 65 cm to the left of the sink instead of the current 50 and could build something tall there. All kitchen planners also said it wouldn’t look good, and I would lose countertop space. The microwave will be above the oven; otherwise, I still need somewhere to put the coffee machine, kettle, dough mixer, etc., right?
The sink will remain in front of the window and will have a separate faucet that can be detached and taken off so the window can be opened. I also thought about that because I read it somewhere in the forum.
