Since the bathroom is not very big, spare towels would also have to go in the wardrobe, just like sauna stuff. Very thick winter jackets we could store in the basement, but I don't want to have to store every jacket in the basement. I can upload a floor plan for the ground floor later. For the first floor, I will upload the floor plans for the two rooms. In the attic, there is a room with 15 sqm DIN living area, which should initially become the guest room and if there are ever two children, we would convert it into a children's room. The study would be in the basement, there are two rooms with light wells and then a technical/laundry room and a storage room.

Upload a complete floor plan of the upper floor. There might be ideas that can be easily implemented and create additional storage space.

Hello,
attached is the floor plan for the ground floor and for the two rooms on the upper floor, I don’t currently have a complete floor plan available, I can upload it later. On the upper floor, as is usually the case in a semi-detached house, there is still the staircase, a 120 cm wide hallway, and then the bathroom with a window would connect upstairs. The bathroom is rectangular. Right when you enter, the shower is on the right and behind it the bathtub. The door opens to the left and behind it is the heating. Followed by the sink and the toilet. There is only room for a hanging cabinet about 100 cm wide and 20 cm deep and a vanity unit below the sink. You can’t fit many towels in there. We measured the hallway, at most a not too deep bookshelf fits so that the hallway does not become even narrower. The window sills start at about 80 cm above the floor.

Hello, does anyone perhaps have an idea how we can sensibly fit the bedroom into one of the rooms? The wardrobe should be at least 450cm. I checked again carefully at my place. I have a lot of towels and bed linen in my wardrobe. If I include the sports gear, I should manage with 200cm, my girlfriend then with 250cm. Do you stack sweaters one behind the other in your wardrobes? Do two rows fit for you or only one row? The wardrobe is 68cm deep, minus the door still about 60cm.

So, now my idea about it. I quickly put it together in the Alnok kitchen planner.

Assumption: Bed with outer frame 190 cm wide and 210 cm long, so a 180x200 cm mattress.

Then 300 cm of wardrobe on the right side and a kind of blind door for the rest (because some distance from the wall must also be accounted for). You can hang an ironing board, vacuum cleaner, or just bathrobes behind it.

Then a partition wall installed at a distance of about 280 to 290 cm measured from the left wall. Length about 260 cm.

There will initially be a 150 cm wardrobe with the usual depth of 60 to 68 cm. So now there are already 450 cm of wardrobe, just under 50 cm "corner nook", and then another 100 cm left for a 40 cm deep wardrobe so that the window at the bottom side can open.

Hello, this is a very interesting option. The bed is 188 cm wide and 225 long, but it should still fit without any problems. I will discuss it with my girlfriend, we haven't even considered putting up a wall so far. In terms of space, do you find that okay or would it be too small for you in this room?
