Somehow the drawing in #105 does not match the stair position. Please enlighten us :)

Oops.... quite a few things changed again. We turned and twisted it so many times..... at some point it was clear that the stairs would get a landing because of the function at the top.

This floor plan doesn't win any awards, though. Even if it's only for 2 people. Does this "living/dining/kitchen tube" also get furniture? 12.21 x 4.34 (the last 4 m only 3.43). Laundry practically through living...

Fortunately. The last ones wouldn’t have allowed a kitchen line at all, the guest room door disturbed the dining area, or the guest would have had to pass through the bedroom upstairs, which is also a walk-through room, etc. I also still see the furniture problem with the sofa and the stairs, but ultimately you want to use the living room upstairs, right?
I’m curious... I hope you’ll be moved in by Christmas. Or what’s the plan?

The thing is, we are taking our furniture with us, and it has already been planned there according to the dimensions; the kitchen will also be set up 1:1 there. We were also aware of the furniture/stairs problem thanks to constructive criticism here and now have two different furnishing options for ourselves, one even without a dining room. Not everyone may understand that, but we really tried to adapt things to our truly individual living habits.
We do not have a fixed living room or dining room but rather various islands for coffee here or breakfast there; in addition, there is a generously covered outdoor area where I usually prepare food or grill + fry in winter anyway.
We have to move out here in 14 days and definitely do not want to live somewhere temporarily; at least the furniture should be stored in the guest room there. That is the minimum requirement of an actually different plan, which, due to the trouble with the construction, can probably still be implemented. We will probably finish two rooms upstairs, then the builders will be "worn out."
Regarding your question about the floor plan, I initially felt last night that I shouldn’t post it publicly anymore because my reservoir of negative experiences with the construction is already full. However, I found the discussions in my thread beneficial and was truly grateful for the sometimes clear criticism BEFORE finalizing. Precisely because I am really grateful for that and like to discuss openly, I feel it is proper to show the further progress, even if it actually gets a bit too intimate for me. I do not do it to show off but so as not to withhold the further development from the users involved back then; this is almost a thank you to them for their lively participation and also their time.
After the installation of the stairs, we spent a nice evening here with the craftsmen, with whom we are now rather on friendly terms, which makes me like the stairs and the house a bit better or better said again, after we had to experience great trouble. In the end, we now already know some corners and edges that we could or should have done differently, we have that much clarity in our minds; but due to our special situation, why, where, and how we built, it has become or will become like this.
We are both the kind to manage to bring ourselves back into the light with the few positive experiences here; we do not need any random light snuffer who blows it out immediately.
I posted the floor plan last night solely because of your inquiry, for the above-mentioned reasons of decency as I understand it and as a thank you for your always clear opinion, even though my gut feeling told me I should leave it alone......!!!

Thank you very much! Everything is fine after all :) I also stand by my floor plan, even if it has crutches. Everyone sets their emphasis and focus on their gut feeling, which no one in a forum can understand. Doesn't have to - it's only about the gain from a discussion - what you then make of it is up to yourself.
