Toilet window in the guest WC next to the entrance door - is it now a no-go?

An affordable house has to prove itself. A proven house has to be affordable. It just turns out that way. If you don’t want to waste any sqm, you end up with a design where the window is next to the front door. I tried to place the guest toilet somewhere else in our house, at least to move the window. Either the guest toilet became a long narrow space or too big or the window would have been at the back by the shower. Well, whatever: with us, visitors don’t grab the door handle one after another. The postman comes at the same time, the visitors usually announce their visit, so no one has to be surprised while farting in the loo. It’s just like keeping the church in the village.

Is the ideal place there. We have that too. The window isn't even frosted glass. A little thrill on the bowl keeps the visit entertaining

Hmm, so at my parents' place, it's just a normal bathroom with a window next to the door... I've never found it disturbing. Neither from the inside nor from the outside.

Kitchen window facing the street or front door with a small opening sash. That's how it has to be, we have that too. I always cheerfully wave to all the new-build tourists with the kitchen towel!
