You are still free with the window. The room is approximately 216x235 cm in size .. incl. large shower, toilet, sink, and bathroom cabinet. The window is not centered.

Am I mistaken that this is about a single apartment? I only count one washbasin. What needs to fit next to it: hair washing products, hair dye products. Makeup items have their own shelf. Do guest towels need to be placed next to it? - 120 already seems very wide to me, just as a beauty workbench.

My washbasin is 100 cm wide, underneath Ikea Godmorgon, electric toothbrush etc. are all in the drawer, as I had a socket installed there at the last minute. So that nothing is lying around on my washbasin. I also consider 140 cm to be exaggerated.

Correct, it is a single apartment. Just for me (with weekend sleepover guests) and of course it should later also be sellable as "for couples" or a young couple with a young child." That’s why I don’t find space for drying off in the bathroom so unnecessary.

Kerstin, I have read your bathroom thread! You are a room miracle, I think you got the maximum utility out of it. I like the shower solution. I briefly experimented with a rounded quarter-circle shower as an alternative. But I didn’t like that as much, although of course it saves a little bit of space compared to square.

In my original plan, I discovered that the bottom wall of the plan can be moved about 10cm further down. Then I would have 190 instead of 180. Depending on the arrangement of the parts, that could be a gain.

The sink does not have to be so big for me either, but I need at least 60cm space total so I don’t splash on the floor when washing under my arms.

Not much needs to be within easy reach at the sink itself. Soap, preferably also the toothbrush and a towel for drying. Just the things really used daily. If makeup + mirror were also there, that would be practical.

Since I bought the apartment through a project planner, I already have fixed budgets for the kitchen and bathroom. More is always possible, of course, but with the bathroom I’m trying to stick to the budget. That’s why I’m first trying to plan in the sizes given by the budget (a furniture series with the washbasin sizes 60, 90 or 120). Although the sink itself is always 50 and (unfortunately) always recessed in the center. Grrr. A laterally recessed one like Kerstin’s is much more sensible.

The window can still be moved. I haven’t drawn that in each time in the rough plans.

I’m adding a few more variants. In the drawings, the gray hatched bottom wall is the original wall, the beam just below it is the alternative shifted by 10cm.

Original plan:

Variant 1:
large shower, large washbasin; space for changing at the bottom of the plan approx. 80cm. Shower entrance from the bottom of the plan.

Option 2:

This would be the luxury option: large shower, L-shaped panel on the washbasins, and otherwise relatively plenty of space.
