I don't like T-solutions that much. You have a large bathroom but it still looks much smaller. The shower becomes very dark. Without artificial light, it's hardly possible to shower there.

We decided against a double washbasin because one is absolutely enough for us and we preferred more storage space for toothbrushes, cosmetics, etc.
So we get the surface area of a double washbasin (washbasin countertop) with only one sink (all the way on the left). This way we have at least 60 cm of storage on the right.

In the shower bathroom, we also only planned one sink. That is completely sufficient for the two children.
I also don’t really like privacy screens. They wouldn’t help much for you anyway, since you walk past the toilet when you enter or leave the bathroom.

In your children’s bathroom, I feel there is a lack of storage space. Where else would towels, hairdryers, cosmetics, etc. go?
Maybe something nice could be created with a niche (offset from the washing machine and dryer).

I think that's good too! How wide is your sink? I think I need to draw it all out again on graph paper and then take a closer look. Next week we will probably also go to a bathroom showroom, maybe they can already plan something for us there. The kids' bathroom really seems small, maybe the architect drew generous dimensions there. I just measured our large bathroom (not even 6m² ) with a bathtub. The kids' bathroom is 3.51m long. If I count 1m for the shower and 1m for the toilet, then there is still 1.50m left in between for a cabinet and washbasin. There must be a nice combination with a 60cm cabinet and a 90cm washbasin with drawer plus mirror cabinet? Or at least something along those lines.

We have 130cm for the countertop and we will place a rectangular 65cm sink on it. Of course, more would have been possible, but that is enough for us.

With us, it is a 120cm square and rather shallow sink on a 160cm hanging cabinet with 4 drawers, 2 each stacked. This way, we have storage space of 20 cm on each side and enough room for brushing teeth, etc. Even with the three of us and our daughter.

Hello,

just some food for thought on the subject of bathroom fittings:

Our kitchen builder (carpenter) custom-made a mirrored cabinet, a vanity unit, and a wall cabinet for our large bathroom and was still significantly cheaper than any of the sturdy standard bathroom furniture available.

In our "fun shower," we also installed a niche in the wall the size of a wall tile (75 x 25 cm), where now all the shower stuff is stored. The "floor tile" in this niche has a slight slope towards the shower so that the splashed water drains away by itself.

Regards,

Dirk

Our children's bathroom is even only 1.75m wide and also 3.50m long. But we have a different arrangement of door and window, and because of that we have space for a washbasin across the entire width of the room. What I absolutely don't like in the children's bathroom is the window in the shower. Every time, water will be standing on the windowsill. In my opinion, there should be a different solution - possibly a niche to the utility room for the shower.

Originally, we also wanted a T-solution in the bathroom. But we moved away from that, because then on one side of the washbasin we were not allowed to install sockets (due to safety distance to the shower). We have a double washbasin and use both equally. One is mine and one is my husband's.

Since you really have a huge bathroom, I would reduce your bathroom by 50cm and add those 50cm to the children's bathroom. Our bathroom is only 3.50x3.30 and has a similar layout to yours - only we don’t have the washbasin on the side of the shower and toilet, but in front of the bathtub (also a corner tub) and we still have enough space to move comfortably with two or even five people. By the way, next to the tub under the window, we built a bench.
