Photovoltaic system / heat pump, do you have 2 meters?

Is it already somewhat clear how much heat pump electricity can be covered by photovoltaics+battery (subordinate to household electricity)? The solar companies I asked couldn’t calculate this and simulated it via increased household electricity. I then calculated it myself using a modified existing tool because I know my consumption. Since there will soon still be about ~7ct/kWh feed-in tariff, the heat pump then costs approx. (I'll round up for the future) 17ct/kWh and in Hamburg 23 ct/kWh (feed-in loss due to self-consumption of saved supplier costs deducted).

Well, that is also hard to generalize. If you have a very large photovoltaic system, the chance is greater to store something in winter that the heat pump can use outside of sunlight hours. But in household sizes (photovoltaic and storage up to 10 kWp/kWh), I would neglect the effect of the storage in winter.

Besides, I think the storage prices are still too high and there are no subsidies here (Brandenburg). We are having a 13.29 kWp photovoltaic system installed and will probably wait for the subsidy.

Additionally, the point "Zählerschrank" with your home builder should also be taken into account. The standard version is probably only for one meter. At least with us, they wanted about €1,200 extra for the larger cabinet for two meters. That was ultimately the decisive reason why we decided against it. With monthly meter fees, etc., the savings are anyway quite small or non-existent. For the > 1000 EUR additional cost for the larger Zählerschrank, you are practically operating at a loss. So you should include that in your considerations.

Two eHZ fit on one meter panel. This is afaik also now mandatory. Therefore, there cannot (any longer) be an additional charge.

Hello everyone,

small question:
The system has been running since mid-August. I still have 2 meters that were somehow newly connected.
Now I am currently taking care of the VAT advance return. Unfortunately, I don't quite understand it. I have not yet received a contract from the energy supplier regarding the feed-in tariff. It is in progress, but it is taking a while. Without this contract and the figures contained in it, I cannot yet file a VAT advance return, right? How does one proceed here?
Does anyone perhaps have a document at hand that generally explains the topic easily?
Regards
