All previous answers do not relate to the [KfW300] program, which requires [KfW40] and Sustainable Building / [QNG]. This additional proof is very time-consuming and causes a lot of annoying work as well as further qualification of the consultant. I don't know if the amount is justified, but [QNG] is generally very expensive.

I think my statement can also be applied to the 300 program, since the same requirements apply to the 297. In the 300 you also have the choice whether with or without QNG ;)

Is it also the case that the materials used in the KFW300 without QNG are checked for sustainability? I mean in the LCA which is still required anyway. If I can purchase wood at price X and the energy consultant calculates that it has too high a CO2 impact, do I have to acquire wood at price Y much more expensive?

You can look up in ÖKOBAUDAT how each building material is treated. For KVH, for example, there is a value for DE and a generic one, so presumably wood not from Germany. The entire verification for all things, as far as I know, only becomes part of QNG; with the LCA, it’s more about roughly estimating the ecological balance. Our energy consultant definitely did not mention that he needs exact supply chains and proofs, otherwise we couldn’t do it with so much self-performance ;)

That's exactly what I thought. If I had to provide all the proofs and supply chains myself, I would seriously consider abandoning the whole KFW topic.

One really has to ask oneself sometimes how someone can come up with such nonsense as QNG. One can hardly harass the citizens any more.
