I did push the door into the hallway once. With a width of 180, that is fine.
the size of the kitchen is justified compared to the living room. Shouldn't the living room offer the freedom? Currently, it is just as big as in our apartment, and there 16m² is already relatively small.
I was just wondering why the net area is smaller; it’s probably due to the thicker exterior walls. What measurements did you use there? Do you have a dimension of the hallway? I measured in our apartment: 1.20 m is quite narrow but probably sufficient if it’s just meant as a walkway. Maybe I should come to terms with the idea of designing the kitchen and living room partially open to have a more spacious view. What I don’t like are the sparse windows on the south side; here I wish for more “glass.” What do you think about placing the bathroom and wardrobe to the east between the kitchen and bedroom? That could enlarge the living room. The bathroom at around 10 m² might be oversized and some of that space could be taken from the kitchen. Best regards MichaelI pushed the door into the hallway once. At 180 width, that's fine.![]()
