Good morning,

can someone here tell me what funding is currently available overall for a brine heat pump? I find it somewhat unclear from which sources you can get money - therefore the direct question about specific figures - for NRW.

The local utility company here also gives another 750 EUR.

Best regards & thanks! Gatho

New building or old building? The BAFA has a actually quite simple flyer about this. For new buildings, €4000 for the heating system and €500 for the drilling - my understanding and also how it has been for us. Important: application first, then contract. Of course also observe the other requirements.

Thank you for the quick reply, yes exactly - new building (KFW70 semi-detached house).

Our air-water heat pump was changed by the general contractor. However, it also has to fit financially... that was not planned at all.

But heating is already an important aspect in a house... you start to wonder whether to invest the money in a ground-source heat pump. Depending on the subsidy, more or less.

So from Bafa there is 4,000 EUR for the heating, 500 EUR for the drilling, and another 750 EUR from my local utility company. Otherwise, the state of NRW doesn’t provide anything, right?

Best regards Gatho

No, but you must submit the application before commissioning - that is sometimes a bit more difficult with the [GU]... clarify that as soon as possible.
