I just realize the discussion Gas/heat pump is just as unnecessary and pointless as the discussion aerated concrete/Poroton/pumice/clay pellets or monolithic/EPS insulation system
I think it's good, sometimes other points of view come up that are otherwise overlooked. As long as it doesn't basically turn into quasi-religious trench warfare.
On the other hand, the electricity price has steadily increased and basically knows no other direction than one:
Is the graphic still valid if you get heat pump tariffs?!
Thanks for the many contributions and thoughts!!! We are exactly stuck in the same decision: hassle-free old-school gas heating or modern air-water heat pump... controlled residential ventilation is also still a topic for decision... what might one regret in 5-10 years
Comparison for yourself. With us, the kWh electricity costs about 27 cents and heat pump electricity 21 cents. No idea if it is more expensive elsewhere, the graphic clearly implies that.
