I always find such sweeping comments very valuable.

Then show how, if not even an IHK sworn expert has the patent solution in his pocket.

Where was your IHK afternoon course expert before and before the windows were installed? You yourself say you have no idea, why don't you have more construction phases inspected? Why are leaks found and somehow patched? Why does your general contractor lie to you about the sealed roof? Why does your general contractor lie to you about the sealed roof? Why doesn't your IHK expert say anything about this? Your house is filling up with water and you set up dryers. Who pays for the construction electricity? And much more.

Slowly I understand why our expert can assert himself so well without letters and the like and is appreciated by craftsmen and builders. He was so confident in everything and could speak to anyone at eye level and immediately say what the solutions are.

What is there to think about for so long. Windows must be sealed in such and such a way. Building material is missing or misapplied. Vapor barrier the same.

Don’t let yourself be intimidated and stop throwing cotton balls around. Whether well-founded or not, sometimes you have to slam your fist on the table.

I understand the robber. You have no leverage. What exactly do you want to do? Besides complaining and involving experts.

A humble [GU] somehow muddles through. In the end, you deduct a low five-figure amount and remain annoyed.

Are you trying to say that the expert is no good? He is confident too but he cannot force anyone to carry out the work. He was recommended to me here through the forum and the other builder is getting along great with him, apparently he was always able to assert everything there as well. With us, the general contractor is absolutely not accessible but the expert can't do anything about that.

They don’t recognize the things as defects, what is there not to understand? Should I hit them in the face, shout at them, shake them, strangle them.....?

Even with the terrace door windows. The expert and lawyer have shown that we are right. They took a different view. The lawyer says we can enforce it but then there will probably be a work stoppage first – who knows for how long. Being right on the matter, proving it and then also enforcing it are different things.

Well, just raise a fuss! *G*

There are standards and processing instructions from the manufacturers.
Does he comply, yes or no?
If no, he must make corrections.
Our person gave very clear instructions. No maybe, could have, if, would, I don't know.

What happens in case of a construction stop?
Who does not get paid but still has to pay wages and suppliers?
