Probably not as significantly as the 2.7% volume reduction might initially suggest. But the second garage door should be paid for, and a foundation for automation will also come out of it.

The construction consultant also got in touch regarding the expected reduction in construction costs. He estimates about €600 / m³. Not bad for approximately 41 m³.

Slowly, I will have to start dealing with the insurance topic as well, since the earthworks will probably begin in a few weeks. How should I best proceed to find the right package? You probably won’t be able to orient yourself as comfortably regarding this as you would with the electricity provider via Check24.

Wow, €600... For what? Or is he including everything in that?

What do you mean by including everything? We talked about reducing the building height and about what effects that should fairly have on the house price.

Well, what is included in the price per m³? Are these the pure construction costs or do they also include additional construction costs, etc.? If these are the pure construction costs, I find that quite expensive and would like to know which special features justify these costs.

It can only be pure construction costs. What else should be reduced if only the building is a little lower, but nothing else changes. That was the question that was asked of him. How much does the contractor have to reduce approximately to offset the lower building height in terms of costs.
