I rather think that he had to take quite a lot of criticism for his actions and has now thrown in the towel here.

Or did the GU muzzle him by giving him an injunction?

I also rather believe that he no longer felt like just taking a beating here...

I never actively followed the thread, what exactly went wrong? Maybe one can learn from it oneself. I read at some point that an expert was brought in.

Guys, it's only good if the robber, to spare his nerves, leaves the forum in case of doubt. He had to justify himself here for many things to people who are neither his expert nor his lawyer nor his general contractor and accordingly guarantee nothing or ultimately have to take the blame. In his place, I would therefore find it the only reasonable thing to leave the forum at the latest as a secondary front when already overloaded with everything else and only deal with the people who can actually help move things forward. These are - no matter how well-intentioned - certainly not the people here in the forum. I hope that the robber's project will come to a good conclusion despite everything!

I didn't have the feeling that he was angry. There were always several opinions, ok, but often they were also sensible comments that didn't personally concern him. It would be nice if we could hear from or see him again soon.

He is probably very busy with work as well, the construction is hopefully now in the final stretch, and sometimes a child just wants to have their dad. I don't think we need to worry right away just because he doesn't formally request vacation time with us.

To my recollection, he was never named here.

There was more than one, the first was a fiasco (among other things, he referred to a DIN standard for interior doors regarding the terrace doors in Rügen). With a new expert recommended by a forum member, it apparently went better.
