Oh dear, is the site manager even coming back or is he just riding it out with a sick note?

Hopefully, you reach someone from the craftsmen today.

I cannot detect any mockery in Bookstar's sober statement of facts. I find your allegation that a print proof possibly might not have taken place more questionable. What grounds do you have for this assumption?

He is healthy again today and called. I have now told him where he still needs to call.

- Roofer, since he said the Velux ceiling spots need to be repositioned because a rafter on the roof is in the way and anyway, he said they could only be installed after the drywall ceiling was installed.

- Call the plastering crew to clean the installed windowsills, remove plaster splatters from the filigree ceiling, and also remove plaster residues from the unplastered concrete walls in the basement.

- Call the plumber to ask if he is finished downstairs, whether he will offer anything regarding water softening or not, and ask if they are completely finished with their installations now. It would also be interesting to know why the gas meter has apparently not arrived three weeks after registration with the supplier.

- Call the drywaller, since there is still glass wool missing in a breakthrough that the ventilation installer has now used to lead the main pipes into the garage.

The site manager called today and said that as standard, a wooden counter batten will be installed on the upper floor ceiling. For an additional charge, he can also offer a solution with aluminum profiles. This is advantageous for the electrician.

But he said he doesn't care about that.

Do such aluminum profiles have any other purpose besides optimizing the contractor's profit?
