Regarding the insulation strips: the painter also finds it easier to paint far enough down. That is why we shortened them a bit so that it was possible to paint up to just below the height of the later baseboard. But there was still enough left over for the later flooring.

Then I am curious whether the expert will classify the condition in the pictures as a defect.

I really feel sorry for you, regardless of whether the stripes were okay from the drywall installer or not.

I wouldn’t want to go through the uncertainty, and a clean cut looks different. In the pictures, it looks rather roughly torn out...

And the water... I’m at a loss for words... :-(

Was there a statement from the GU on weekdays? Where the water comes from, etc.?

After today's inspection regarding the water ingress at your construction project, the problem lies in the fact that the flat roofs have not yet been finally completed and therefore water has entered at the connections.

This is not a defect but will be properly finished by the roofer tomorrow.

The flat roof above the living room could not yet be completed because the windows must be installed first in order to properly make the connections.

As I already informed you on site, the garage doors still need to be adjusted after the electronic installation is completed, which we can only do once the electrician has carried out the installation.

I think that this should not have been written at all on 6.9., as in my opinion it contradicts the content:

After today's inspection, the flat roofs have been properly sealed/waterproofed, no more water is penetrating.

The areas show residual moisture, which will be dried next week by the heating system and drying devices.

The main roofing work will be carried out next week, so that no water can penetrate at all afterwards.

The basement shows very high humidity/moisture, where we accordingly have to extract the moisture with drying devices because otherwise the moisture cannot escape.

I also perceive that as a contradiction. Did you address the [GU] about it?
