Appropriate to the discussion, the following note appears in our newspaper today:
"Since January, builders have the right to demand detailed plans from construction companies. But companies do not always hand these over voluntarily, informs the Association of Private Builders (Association of Private Builders). However, even if the claim is not stated in the contract, it still applies. Because it is provided for by law and is therefore mandatory. The Association of Private Builders advises having documents on floor plans, elevations, sections, structural engineering, as well as the thermal insulation certificate handed over. (dpa)"
So obviously, this right has only existed since January. I always assumed that as a builder, these plans also belong to me, after all, you pay for them. But since January, there is no longer any basis to refuse at least the inspection of these plans.
