Next Friday is the big coordination meeting (structural shell discussion) with the sanitary rough installer, the sanitary fine installer, the electrician, and the general contractor site manager.

It is to be decided how high the toilets will be mounted, for example - they say that extensive preparation is not necessary; everything is discussed on site. But I think it will all go rather quickly, because for everyone involved except ourselves it is routine. I was wondering whether it might make sense to create a checklist with certain specifications in advance for such a meeting. What do you think?

What else is relevant in such a meeting besides toilet heights and placements of faucets? In the bathrooms, for example, it should also be reviewed how exactly the drywall partitions in the bathrooms are to be constructed.

I think so too. When "the dads were not yet allowed into the delivery room," it was also quieter on the construction site for the workers there.

I would precisely read through the construction description again for such things, where something is said about standard heights and the like, and then reflect on those in relation to your own views.

A plate load test was carried out where the garage is to be located. The values were poor. The earthworker admitted to having poorly compacted the area (apparently not as he billed). Now he will probably have to remove all the mess and refill it. This is supposed to happen tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the completion of the upper floor continues to be delayed. The carpenter is scheduled for the 22nd to carry out the roof structure.

Oh, and something like that only comes out when you ask why the garage on the ground floor doesn’t exist yet?

How good that the garage is getting a flat roof

I also find everything a bit strange. The general contractor also seems to be anything but satisfied with the shell builder. I have the impression that they are currently only working "from day to day" on a sight basis. I also don't get any mid-term appointments anymore. The appointment with plumbing and electrical for the shell construction meeting in the finished shell was supposed to take place two weeks ago. But then there was no Poroton.... I believe I was already given four different dates in the meantime for when the shell construction is supposed to be finished.....

The strangest thing I find is that although no mid-term dates are given, the construction manager says that the final deadline at the beginning of October is unlikely to change, since they regularly make up for the time lost in the shell construction during the interior exterior work.
