I still lack the reference point here - which apparently is also the cause of the problem. For example, with us it said:

"THE SPECIFIED PARAPET HEIGHTS REFER TO TOP OF RAW FLOOR AND TOP OF WINDOW SILL

THE SPECIFIED INTERIOR DOOR HEIGHTS REFER TO TOP OF ROUGH FLOOR OR SILL

WINDOW RECESS ON THE GROUND FLOOR AND ATTIC = 5 cm."

In sections, you can also see the installation heights and dimensioned positions of the windows.

Careful, that then results in a step of 14 cm from the inside to the outside from the screed (+16 cm or styrofoam simulation according to the photo) to the DT covering - with the bottom of the window door frame in between?

Is that desired?
Nowadays, flush floors are rather state of the art.

They always told me that a threshold is necessary, and the expert did not say anything to the contrary during the contract review. I don't think complaining about it now will help me any further. Even if the threshold could be removed, I would still have a harder time getting through the door. And I think I have to give up the idea that I can get all windows replaced at no cost or with minimal cost.

I have the cross-section here:

How do you want to solve that without a threshold if there is a living space under the roof terrace?

The ceiling above the living space needs to be insulated. Usually, this insulation is as thick as the screed inside the house. And then you can add another 8-10 cm of covering including understructure on top of the insulation.

So I don't see that as so dramatic now. The "small door" would bother me much more...

If I remember correctly, I already criticized back then why a lintel is installed above the roller shutter box. In our house and all our neighbors' houses, the boxes were installed directly below the floor slab.

And it is not dimensioned there... (and thus not immediately recognizable!).

Have you already checked the plan with a ruler and scale? At first, I thought that the floor-to-ceiling window was at least drawn larger; but the indication of 162.5 on the right seems to me, compared to the 184 clearance height, to be proportional after all (unfortunately). But better to measure on the 1:100 paper plan.

By the way:
Is 90 cm railing height enough for you at 1.89 m body height? With a small child?
NRW still sets 90 cm as minimum height in the state building code. Most federal states set a minimum height of 100 cm in the state building code. So it is not a defect. But I personally also find 100 cm safer.

I could certainly have that changed for an additional charge; sounds good. What do the other users think?

No. What exactly would you be interested in? I can only do that tonight around 11 pm.
