I swear on my club sandwich that I sympathize and wish the robber all the best! Building is often hell, you just have to get through it and somehow keep your nerves.

Thank you for the info

It's unfortunate that this seems to be "normal" so often, and you really are the exception if you don't have nervous breakdowns during this time.

Everything used to be better

They built on prime plots, not infill lots or old buildings; with uninsulated base slabs, no questionable or improperly installed insulation could have been present; projections and cantilevers protruded to the outside from heated spaces without any trace of embarrassment; in the center of the room a lamp cable came out of the ceiling; shower with threshold and shower hose instead of rainshower; radiator heating with floor constructions where it did not matter from where you measured the kitchen window sill; the "only" difference in the construction performance description was light switch covers in white or decorative; and so on.

Has anyone heard from the robber again? Is the house finished? I sincerely wish it for him – no one should have to go through such crap as he did
