No one has made an appointment with me or asked at what height sockets should be installed or something like that, and we also didn’t think about bringing that up ourselves. As a client, you are simply overwhelmed with topics, and if you are not addressed by the respective craftsmen in a checklist manner, something inevitably gets overlooked.

Is your base perhaps sealed again under the insulation boards? It is also important that the sealing extends beyond the terrain surface edge and does not end directly at the ground. Then make sure to talk to the craftsmen before carrying out the next trades (height and position of the washbasin and toilet, for example). The height of the shower head is also important. If you don't say anything, the craftsmen will do as they please. We also marked the position of the toilet paper holders and towel holders ourselves. It was also very important for us to check in every day during the tiling work. With large-format tiles, there are many possibilities for where to start, where to cut, and where the joints will be. It is best to discuss the possible joint transitions to different rooms and walls in detail as well.

Best regards
Sabine

No idea. Isn't the expert report clear?

That's all already installed and luckily also agreed upon.

The expert writes that the sealing on the insulation boards is not correct. However, in the pictures it looked like you could see a black bitumen seal underneath, but it might just be a shadow. Don't you have a wall cross-section of the lower structure of the sealing in your execution plans? With us, sealing was done under the boards and again a protective layer on top.

Best regards

Not that I know of.

I also don’t understand what you’re getting at. Basically, everything is described in the report - what is and what should be.

Well, if there is still a sealing underneath, what does the main contractor say?

Best regards
