There are still such openings in the house here.

Today I asked how these get closed up. I was told that the shell builder no longer comes back for that and they just box it off. When I asked if that wouldn't cause problems with sound insulation, I was told that there is no sound insulation in a single-family house (which is technically correct according to DIN). Still, I want it to be quiet between the different rooms.

The expert then said that you could commission glass wool to be installed everywhere in there.

What do you think about that? It also concerns the service shafts, etc.

Oh, plural as well. Which corners does that concern?

Why are there the breakthroughs? So is there still something that has to get through, which has been missing until now?

I think, for example, the dismantled vent pipe to the children's room went through there. Or rather the downpipe, which would have been cut out of the desk surface in the study.

Exactly.

So now I have to weigh whether to have fiberglass insulation installed for an additional cost or not, or whether I should pursue another solution. It can't be that expensive, but despite the fact that there is officially no soundproofing in detached houses, we still want to work towards the best possible solution. From experience in our current apartment, it’s enough that my wife constantly comes upstairs to the living room asking me to turn the TV down. I find it so annoying when you’re on different floors and still have to be so quiet. Therefore, I wisely planned the hobby room in the basement as a buffer, where a home theater could be installed.

EDIT:
Now it’s getting interesting again. The underfloor heating is installed now. The roofer is coming tomorrow to waterproof, and today it’s raining cats and dogs! That can’t be healthy if the whole house fills up again and the water seeps into the Styrofoam structure below. Oh man!

The screed also has water, so it probably won't do anything. It evaporates during heating, I think.

I don't understand the open holes. Why don't you buy a bag of masonry mortar and just fill them up? Put a board underneath and fill from above. You can easily do it yourself. Or fill it cleanly with Styrodur.

The surface-mounted heating distributor is intense. I've never seen it like that before. I thought it was always flush-mounted.
