There are still such openings in the house here.

Today I asked how these get closed up. I was told that the shell builder no longer comes back for that and they just box it off. When I asked if that wouldn't cause problems with sound insulation, I was told that there is no sound insulation in a single-family house (which is technically correct according to DIN). Still, I want it to be quiet between the different rooms.
The expert then said that you could commission glass wool to be installed everywhere in there.
What do you think about that? It also concerns the service shafts, etc.
