I don't know. Today I'm looking for a new expert and starting over again. Someone who is told from the beginning that they must also treat the counterpart with respect and not blurt out what they don't know, so that it doesn't get contradicted again by the general contractor / building authority.

Since this is probably a service contract, I would not recommend doing this without legal advice.

Your clerk at the building authority is a gem!

The invoice is here! I can't believe it. For this childish report, 280 € net is to be paid. Almost € 1,000 gone in total for a visit that brought absolutely nothing. And there are still numerous inspections and the final acceptance to come.

I urgently need to find a flat-rate package somewhere. However, three experts have already told me today that they are fully booked. I have hardly any options.

They don’t have to be from Cologne or Aachen, if necessary you can take one from Bonn or from the unpronounceable D-city

Then there would only be hope that they don't bill the trips as shown on the invoice. Just for your information; the guy has a trip of 16km / 21 min.

I have the feeling that many people involved in our construction are building their first house.

Anecdote from today.

The construction manager writes to the electrician, asking why the meter box / house connection box was installed where the heating is supposed to go.

The electrician replies asking what that has to do with him, saying he should refer to the utility company that installed the connection. He did not install anything.

What is the usual procedure in such cases?
