Are you sure? Then why are you worried, that is totally wide. With a 60cm wardrobe on both sides you would have almost 1.3m of space! We have 1.12m of space and it doesn’t feel tight at all.

That's how it looks.

The visualization looks a bit cramped. But that can be misleading. It looks like there is no space left to the left and right of the window. And that is 1m wide.

But the cabinets are also 68cm or 71cm deep.

Don't worry, it's generous enough even with the wider cabinets. We had looked at it once at Ikea beforehand. There were two dark cabinet rows facing each other with a 90cm gap, which was quite tight but still manageable, and you have even more space.

Do you think the visualization from Hülsta is deceiving? Let's be honest; it looks bad.

But I also find it a shame that they are not able to send high-resolution visualizations, like you get for example in a good kitchen studio.

For the Solist model, by the way, we would also waive the custom-made option and simply seal the open area up to the ceiling with a profile.

That definitely looks good later on and as long as none of you weigh 200kg each, you can move freely in the dressing room without feeling cramped. The only thing I would worry about is the choice of your wardrobe front. Your modern "wood slat pattern" looks good when viewed head-on from 3 meters away, but it will surely look quite different when standing right in front of it. You can immediately see every speck of dust and you probably won’t feel like wiping it every day. A lighter color for the fronts looks much more relaxed and less confining. We installed our white wardrobe doors just a few weeks ago and had an open dressing room for months before that. Since we have the doors, the room feels wider and brighter.

Best regards

I have fallen in love with the wooden slat cabinet, and even when you stand close to it, the tactile feel and appearance are stunning. However, I am of the opinion that it should be the only dark accent. The opposite side – if it is to be installed – will also have white doors on the left and right, just like the slat cabinet. Overall, it will therefore be very light.

If we stick to just one cabinet, it would be worth considering to what extent we equip the lower part of the wardrobe with cabinets instead of leaving it mostly open. This way, you wouldn’t have to carry winter coats up and down seasonally and could leave everything down there. Then you wouldn’t need as much space at the top either.

The dressing room has no window! Only light coming in from the hallway. The cabinets shown there are just samples and there are no concrete plans or ideas behind them so far.

The door lintel marked at the top left is not going to be installed. The ventilation shafts basically ruin the whole room. It will be interesting to furnish this room with the dead corner at the back.
