I will not get an expert for now but will pass the ball to the craftsman. If he does not consider the requirements of the Q2 level to be met, he should please justify this in writing and provide evidence if necessary. Otherwise, he should deliver as ordered or I am happy to allow him to withdraw from the order confirmation.

The GU is (not personally) known to me and does not make a bad impression on me at all. As a mistake (on both sides), I see more the risk taken to combine two things: the OP wanted a proper "architect’s house," i.e. with a lot of individuality even in the details; the GU "can" do something else: run-of-the-mill, run-of-the-mill superior, and run-of-the-mill exquisite — each gladly also with floor plans with their own inspirations, but still within reach of the standard. The OP broke out of this framework — a pilot project that probably neither will repeat. I am not quite an hour’s drive from the GU’s headquarters, without knowing any angry customers. What they normally do is a bit more basic fare — just in all price categories. So I can well imagine that they have never had a construction site with so many critical details and have to think on their side, "usually customers are satisfied, here probably the builder or their expert is acting up." I suspect that even something like the (caused by me) pre-installation for a passage door they have never seen before. And a builder who questions the shower water pressure, certainly not. From my point of view, two have come together here, at least one of whom should better have said "no" (which both probably could not have foreseen).

I find that neither funny, nor appropriate, nor is it allowed; but it fits your overall conduct here. The robber signed the contract under completely false pretenses, as the GU, conversely, also accepted it under the same conditions. I have occasionally expressed my opinion on the many inquiries, questions, actions, reactions, expert opinions, etc. from the robber and still do not see him as the "poor" client, as Josephine and others believe. I am almost certain that the robber has learned nothing from what has happened so far on the construction site and that the virtual hug from Josephine and others is therefore for him a confirmation of what he has always known. Quote: All scammers. So the best conditions to bring the BV to a reasonable conclusion.

That's the crucial point. Anyway: It is no longer correctable. So what is the alternative approach that leads to an acceptable result? Do you have an idea? The expert is a must here and irreplaceable in this constellation of the general contractor, who tries to handle something that is not part of his portfolio, and the client, who wants something that he cannot get from this general contractor as is. However, some mistakes have also been made by the workers (or resulted from changes in the plan), which should not occur on a professional construction site, period. Well, it may happen almost everywhere. But it needs to be corrected.

The fact that many side battles are additionally being played out is due to the constellation identified above as the crux. Now, I think nothing more can be done there, it will run out toward the end like that.

I see that somewhat differently. As a professional, I have to know my limits and correctly assess such a project. If it is foreseeable that too many unknowns will arise, one must also be able to decline. Otherwise, complaints and criticism will pour in. Accusing the layperson of having chosen the wrong professional, on the other hand, I consider nonsense. How should they know that the professional is overestimating themselves?
