We had previously inquired with a general contractor for the entire house project and he had specified the special request of industrial parquet with a 45€/sqm net surcharge. So not too far off, as I said it was the surcharge.

Just take a look at the common online shops and compare it to plank formats. So more than half in relation to the plank would be excessive because, as mentioned, these are wood leftovers.

For this, the thickness of the sawn timber layer is much greater than that of the planks.
