You are right. And that's what we want to do. However, since the expert said yesterday that something like that doesn't cost much, it would be interesting to know if you consider such a price normal.

What I forgot to mention; we have a separate water line disconnected from the house network for the two outdoor taps. The line from the first to the second tap is over 10m long. When asked about the legionella issue, the expert said that this is normal and the company did a good job with the pipe separation. We are supposed to simply hang a sign on the second outdoor tap saying "kein Trinkwasser". Have you ever seen something like that?

We should pay 600 euros + VAT for it.
Do not have any. Would have been mostly noticeable at the sink in the kitchen.
Not missed yet.

We have one in the parent bathroom but none in the children's bathroom. This is only about the children's bathroom. The mentioned price would be gross for us.

We were advised against it because of the problem. Either hang a sign that children can’t read or regularly draw water whether we need it or not. However, the savings for us are minimal.
At the moment, I get my water from the well across the street and get the latest gossip every evening.

I think the price is still okay. For us, it would have been about 720 euros gross. Just have them install it, and if it is not needed, it can be turned off.
