What does it mean to trust myself.... The idea of creating a situation where you can sit on the couch and still look out the window is not bad at all. But as I said, I also really can't imagine that it fits our layout; so it will probably stay that way.

And why do you want to leave the wall to the office so "bare"? I would place a cozy corner sofa there so that the room appears open towards the dining area.

Why bare? We will put pictures there, maybe later a little cabinet....

We don’t want a corner sofa. It was just about introducing the idea of having the TV on a small room divider. But I think that probably doesn’t make sense then.
