I'm curious how long the processing by the building authority will take. I have read that they are actually supposed to be finished within three months. In Cologne, I know that people sometimes wait for three quarters of a year. Luckily, we are not in Cologne.... But then the regulation with the three months is probably more of a guideline under ideal conditions than a reliable maximum processing time, right?

If I understand correctly, this only applies to the simplified procedure, where failure to reject after a deadline is considered approval. And simplified procedures are apparently only possible in areas with an approved development plan.
