I would (and will) completely skip the wardrobe in the dressing room and instead install a boutique shelving system (e.g. Ikea elvarli, surely available elsewhere in an even nicer version). It is airier than massive wardrobes on both sides, and the whole room is a wardrobe anyway. However, I would definitely want to include a mirror in which you can see yourself completely, regardless.

You mean an open system? Doesn't all your clothes get covered in dust?

1. Sliding doors protrude the most forward. When space is tight and in a parallel arrangement:
Better go for hinged doors, and possibly with one pair of mirrored hinged doors, that should be completely sufficient.

2. One could also use wardrobes with standard dimensions - and have profiles and trims worked from the wardrobe to the wall on top and at the sides by a carpenter. But since there is an exterior wall on top and skirting boards, door frames & co. also need space, it will anyway be a solution at about 2.50 m length + X. Airtight custom installation would be too risky for me in a damp new building also from a ventilation perspective...

We have exactly the same dressing room as you. On both sides we have two 2.50m Pax cabinets in white high gloss and it doesn't feel cramped at all, the space in between is exactly 1.12m. However, we chose hinged doors, they are simply easier, faster and quieter (silent) to open.

Best regards

Would not take sliding doors. I find the cabinets look bulky. Possibly on one side, do not take a 60 cm deep cabinet, but only 40 cm. Loosen up one side a bit with drawers at the bottom and shelves at the top for handbags, jewelry box, or watch collection.
