I have suggested to them to plan it as you proposed. In case of doubt, I decide in favor of the advantages of the interior versus the exterior appearance.

In the living room, you probably mean my idea to move the window to the right of the dining table, which still needs to be drawn there, upwards. Based on the advice here, I have abandoned that idea and leave it as currently drawn.

My proposal was a minimally invasive solution in order not to drastically change the latest status. I would prefer returning to the previous window arrangement. However, these are two approaches, and in my opinion, you should decide on one and have only that "replanned."

No, I could imagine that after the "final" furnishing, taking into account the actual sofa dimensions, the garden-side dining area window and the sliding door might still swap places. I consider this something that needs to be clarified significantly before anything is considered ready for submission.

I was not aware of it that way. I rather understood you as saying, what on earth did the planner think when designing the previous window? I had seen that as not an option at all. Apparently a big misunderstanding.

Such significant things, of course, come very late now. It hadn't occurred to me so far and I do not see an advantage in it now either. At some point, one must also finalize a plan, I think.

The general contractor told me again today that there is definitely 120 cm of space between the two closets in the dressing room. I can rely on that. He assumes a closet depth of 60 cm.

He aims to conclude the contract this month, as it will otherwise be more expensive for us.

... but referred to the latest design, where the small window of Child 2 "sticks to the partition wall" and forms a "unit" with the bathroom window. The window arrangement (seen from outside) "big-small-big-small" with room for a wardrobe on this wall for Child 2 (= in #16 "old window logic") I consider better, and that was also how I perceived it as the "majority view." But I can live with "my" solution as well - if I had considered it only barely sufficient, I would not have suggested it. If necessary, by taking the living room as it is like a tenant and then aligning the next sofa to the house. I think with one (or the other) window change mentioned above and the adjustment of the parapet height, we are on the home stretch.

Annoying; then I have now told him the wrong thing. In hindsight, I actually quite liked the previous intermediate version. But I understood it as if you found it bad. Stupid.

At the moment, I don’t see what moving the sliding door should bring? In the old thread, several people expressed that this division is desirable because the path from the kitchen leads straight into the garden. The sliding door was previously on the other side and was moved at all for the aforementioned reason.

Yes, I want to finalize it now as well. The parapet height will be adjusted by everyone. The window issue will also still be resolved.

I’m posting it again for everyone. Would this be a feasible window plan on the first floor?
