Except for the last fragments of the interior walls, everything is now standing. The roof truss is on it. Hope that it will now move forward.

The neighbor was asked today in a friendly but firm manner to remove his green waste from our garden. Now I'm curious.

The neighbor has so far not complied with the request to remove his green waste from our property. I asked him again today to take care of it promptly. He then tried to argue that it came from our property and grew over to his side. However, he could not plausibly explain this when we stood together at the property boundary. Allegedly, there is at least 10cm next to the wire mesh fence, which supposedly stands 100% on our property (I am having this checked precisely now), where there is also an area belonging to us. This is exactly where the pruned wood stumps are now standing. How foolish must the former owners have been to build a fence and then leave so much space that the neighbor can openly work on their property? Then behind the wire mesh fence there is a dilapidated chain link fence which he says he does not know whether it stands on the boundary or only on his side. What nonsense all of this is!

Very annoying.

My father and I will clear the entire property boundary of all vegetation in the next few days so that nothing grows over anymore, etc. etc., and it will just be bare. Then, after clarifying the ownership situation regarding the fence and determining exactly where the boundary lies, we will install a complete privacy screen on the wire mesh fence so that nothing can grow back and forth anymore.

It will be interesting if he now does not take back his green waste onto his property as requested. I would probably just throw it back onto his property (with prior notice?). Simply crazy.

The neighbors had also observed this and told me that he simply threw stuff into our garden from his property.

That is all very childish behavior and strongly suggests that you accidentally "bought away" the property from his child or son- or daughter-in-law (or that he lived in the dream idea towards your side and that of the other new neighbors, until his blessed end, of having only fallow land as "neighbors"). Maybe the pastor can take him to task? – on the level of reason, I don't really see him as approachable. In any case, I think he is upset about something that has little to nothing to do with currently visible circumstances or facts and is only a pretext.

Some people are simply bored and provoke just to make something happen in their own little world.

That he is upset is also suspected by the other neighbors. They suspect that this family is unhappy because they live in their more or less original 1960s house and now great houses have been or are being built to the left and right of them. They basically suspect a mix of dissatisfaction with themselves and envy.

It is annoying that the construction company has to go onto their property next week to build the garage. There will certainly be trouble again.

He must tolerate the hammering right. However, you are only allowed to exercise it carefully. It’s best if you then take time off and stand there demonstratively with the video camera.
