Funny, it now goes in the direction of the basement, similar to how it should have gone here, at least skewed. So here in the exchange no vertical run of the downpipe, but over the maybe-door to the garage. Yeah, because of a sloppily read plan now a soap dish niche for the monitor. Delightful.

But still better than the impression of a boiler room with boxed-in ceiling and cable ducts on the wall. It's not funny, only if it can no longer be changed, it must be concealed as best as possible.

You may be right there - I would then screw a brass plaque onto the sculpture with the name of the bungler on it

But as Plan A, I obviously prefer that the slot is still made and the downpipe is swiveled into it.

I assume that it will be done that way, because that is simply how it is drawn.

The only question is, when the pipe is then turned at the corner at the top, whether it will completely disappear under the ceiling plaster or if you will still see something at the top?

Presumably, it will be more like at the bottom left of the plan; it doesn't look to me like you won't see anything of it later.

Do you see a deviation from the plan there?

It should be completely shifted within the construction height of the ceiling. Well, the downpipe at the closet wall should actually continue vertically into the basement in the study - but in this case, you probably won't be upset about the deviation.

I can't see that now. I actually see exactly what's shown in the picture on the plan - a pipe coming into the study from above, which leaves the room again to the south.....
