So with us, the bathroom regularly turns into an absolute steam sauna when someone showers a bit longer. And that despite the ventilation system. In the dressing room, I wouldn't want such a climate. Better to close the door and that's that.

‘niemanden’ That’s what my post was supposed to express … ;) Although one could also possibly understand ‘express’ here as a pun.

Based on the consideration that a revolving door would be obstructive, we installed a frosted glass sliding door to the bathroom. Access is from a part of the adjoining room, which could be described as a "dressing area." The sliding door allows increased privacy when needed (but even with the door open, one cannot see a person showering or relieving themselves) and functions as an effective barrier against odors and steam. Ventilation is provided by a patio door (north) and a smaller window (west), which provides sufficient cross-ventilation.

Shower and dressing area without separation? ... I wouldn't do that because of the moisture.

Sliding doors (we have 2) I would also avoid, if possible. The noise annoys me every time and the movement: "sliding" - I think - doesn't fit well with "walking through".

But as I said: sometimes sliding doors are the best solution.

It depends on the size... we have a bedroom with a dressing room and en suite bathroom which was described here as stylishly designed. We also have a toilet in there. However, the whole thing is quite spacious with 53sqm... we have no problems with moisture in the closets but also have ventilation installed three times in the living area..... the sauna is coming next year, let's see how the moisture situation will be then.

our sauna is already installed. When sauna bathing (70% Finnish, 30% bio), the bathroom door remains closed; if there is no frost, the window is tilted open. After sauna bathing, the bathroom, bedroom, and dressing area are cross-ventilated for at least 2 hours. We have a cedarwood sauna, which we love the scent of, and a small bag of cedar shavings between the pillows.
