Not yet, we have had the plans since Friday and have been playing around with them over the weekend. That will be the next step. Personally, I probably find it easier to "overlook" asymmetry, but the opinion for more visual calm here in the forum is unanimous. We'll see if we can find a compromise. With the tall cabinets above the window – despite the nicer look – we haven't quite warmed up to it yet. If they are at a reasonably reachable height (bottom edge <170cm), the window glass minus window tape+frame goes up to max. 160cm. That means I have a beam directly in front of my eyes and I look diagonally down into the greenery. For the horizon or a bit of sky, I would then have to bend down. I would find that a pity. Even though it looks apparently great in the pretty graphic and in the pictures online (thanks !), I think it would bother us. On the other hand, if we make the window larger, the upper cabinets shift to 200cm+. Then I can still open the door and take something out from the front edge, but not much more without a stool.

Then just leave out the wall cabinets and simply box it in. For example, in our case, the top row will only be a panel in kitchen front design instead of wall cabinets, because nobody would reasonably reach them in everyday use.

That is not correct: the view or head tilt inside the house goes downward. And especially in the kitchen, the view is rather directed at the countertop.

Well... actually, you have a window in the kitchen to have daylight. Especially at the sink, you are looking down anyway. We consciously chose such a window also to look more into our garden instead of looking at the nearby neighbor’s house. We see the sky from other windows in the house. I consider this window format in the kitchen underrated and innovative.

Depending on the storage needs, the compartments above the window can definitely be useful. I have there a decent shoebox with instruction manuals, old boxes from some deliveries, Christmas stuff, stuff like the ice cube tray and bottle compartment from the fridge and freezer, opened paint cans that I think I will still use, etc. The cabinets are my basement substitute for things that are hardly ever used. Every now and then I have to fetch the step stool from Ikea (for about 109 euros). That, in turn, hangs from the ceiling in the utility room (because it is not used so often and would take up a lot of space in a cabinet). A folding ladder can be pushed somewhere behind a cabinet. That works too. Unless you have enough storage space. Then it is not so necessary. However, it is more practical than you think. At least I think so.

I basically agree with you. For us, it's a bit different, as the window actually has two functions. The view to the east is by far the most beautiful. We have kilometers of "openness" in that direction. This is also one of the reasons for using the kitchen island as a bar counter with a line of sight in that direction. We also once discussed moving the living room there, but realized that we spend most of our time in the kitchen. Now we have the challenge of combining the beautiful view outside with a practical and visually appealing kitchen unit.

Yes, sorry... people don't sit on bar stools to look out of a window that is 2-3 meters away from the stools. People also don't stand in the kitchen staring outside. Maybe they do during the construction phase, but not in the middle of their life and daily work.
You are planning uncomfortable stools for the adults to look east and a seating window in the kitchen for the kids in the south. Both of these are planned apart from the real world!!! Sorry!
