House design
Who is the planner?
-Architect

What do you like especially? Why?
Large living area, master bathroom

What do you not like? Why?
Utility room quite small and master bedroom small, children's room somewhat too large

Why is the design as it is now?
Corresponding wishes were implemented by the architect

What do you think makes it particularly good or bad?
Good: Large living area
I am unsure about the half-height window sizes and the swing direction of the doors

What is the most important/fundamental question about the floor plan summarized in 130 characters?

[*]At which points can it still be optimized?
Would you recommend different window dimensions or sill heights?
[*]What do you find bad/would do differently?
[*]A partition wall will be added in the dressing room. Then you could theoretically watch TV from the bed. I am thinking of a lightweight wall. I plan to put a 211cm Pax combination into the dressing room. The dressing room is planned with a raw dimension of 218cm width. Do you think 218 is enough for the Pax once the walls are plastered, or how wide should the raw dimensions better be?
[*]Is the hallway on the ground floor too narrow?
[*]Would you add fill? The house would be 40cm below street level. If the terrace leads to the garden, it would then be 1m. You could only add fill for the house. Then there would be about 1.6 m difference from terrace to garden. So far, I know no one living below street level in the house. Filling the garden probably would not be allowed without permits. The affected neighbors certainly would not approve this either. On the right and left of the house towards the neighbors, you may only add fill up to certain limits. I am somewhat overwhelmed with this decision.
[*]Do you have an idea how to place the sofa differently and arrange the TV sensibly? My husband does not want a window blocked by the back of the sofa. I still have to get used to placing the sofa in the middle of the room.
[*]Is the kitchen size sufficient for a nice kitchen with cooking island?

What do you think about the floor plans?

Show me a site plan. The orientation seems extremely inconvenient to me. It is deliberately aligned to the north, which would benefit from the south (living rooms, children's rooms).

I will check the plan. The living area and children's room are oriented to the south.

Quickly:
One advantage of a dressing room with an adjoining bathroom is that you don’t wake your partner if you get up earlier. That doesn’t work for you. Therefore, I would leave the access to the bathroom from the hallway and swap the dressing room and the bed.
And I wouldn’t want my bed to stand on the children’s room wall anyway, so that would be settled then.
I would also make the parents’ area deeper, so move the wall of child 2 higher, then shift the wall between K1 and K2 so that the rooms are the same size again. Unfortunately, that doesn’t change the narrowness of the room, I find the space around the bed too tight.

Furthermore, I find a storage room absolutely necessary for you, since you only have the inconvenient pull-down ladder to the probably limited attic under the pitched roof and a household room that isn’t exactly huge.
But I didn’t manage to fit that in quickly; others surely have an idea about that.

The shower in the children’s bathroom is cool. Was it leftover or did you want it like that? I would install it in the parents’ bathroom, or with my suggestion I would use the big bathroom anyway. Children don’t necessarily need a double sink now.

Without considering views, I also added windows in the children’s room and dressing room upstairs.

I find the ground floor tidy but with little cloakroom space.

It is honorable of you to want to make the children's rooms so large, but the bedroom is out of the question.

55cm raw construction measurement next to the bed is hardly a joke...
