Yes, right.. the door leads to the earth cellar.. it has already proven itself for potatoes, pickled cucumbers, preserved fruit… and in the hot summer, there is sometimes a cake in there. In winter, the cellar is frost-free (that's where my ornamental lilies overwinter) and in the hottest summer (over 30 degrees) the temperature is max. 17..19 degrees.

that sounds good. We have a hillside garden and I sometimes think about digging a room into the hill (which is otherwise useless) there. But it will probably be too expensive for me ... and there’s also quite a bit else to do ...
... have now looked at the "Erdkeller-Baubericht" and am still impressed. What I notice in these last garden pictures is that there is a lot of "discipline" involved in keeping everything so tidy. With us, it looks significantly more chaotic and untidy - which I don't find bad, but "the neatness" also has something :)
