Yes, we have just had two firs (or similar) about 15 m tall cut down. Besides the light they took, they also dropped a lot of cones and resin. And our previous owners had already planted them.

I would use the fir again as a Christmas tree next year or the year after, but without the root. And then plant something smaller in the front yard.
Big trees in a correspondingly large garden are great, but it’s better to have them somewhere on the edge.

So the light is not the problem, there is only the garage there.

If necessary, I will use the chainsaw. Although my wife will probably behead me then :-). That over there is her corner. She can do it. I am just the Patchok who carries it out.
