Shall I tell you something? This is contagious and addictive.

I like it. We have ideas for the next 15 years on our property and enjoy both the current state and every step – irrigation system, photovoltaics on the carport, sculpture trail, more trees, outdoor sauna, fire pit, purchase of an adjacent pasture (if it works out), taming and developing other areas such as the 60-degree slope to the street or two steep walls – always taking into account the habitat for creatures... Some things will be abandoned again, like the slope lift, which we actually don’t need in practice since we designed the driveway differently than initially thought. A pleasurable motto to slow down the process: How fast is nothing done.

We have a nice steady rain here… everything is growing and thriving.

Do I then get an invitation?.."Outside sauna and fire pit"

The sauna will be a small sauna barrel on a trailer (then we are free in the arrangement) and will remain private. The fire pit will probably be a three-quarter circle made of graywacke with an open fire in the middle, like you can see at the Lindlar Graywacke Manufactory. The former maybe before winter. The latter certainly not this year anymore. You are welcome to come to the fire pit.

This year the small flower meadow in front of our garden, which we created instead of a lawn (it is municipal property, but since we destroyed the lawn during construction, we of course had to replant it): The evening primrose, the daisies, and the lady's bedstraw I never sowed, they settled there on their own, and of course, that makes me very happy! Meanwhile, I downloaded an app called "Flora incognita" and identify all the plants that are bustling around there – it’s really fun. Herbs have also sneaked in among them. The parsley solved a shortage we had, and I think now I will fall back on the dill, which also grows there in between. Mine exploded and has meanwhile been removed from the bed, and I have sowed new. So, during the time when I don’t have dill from the bed, I can fall back on my flower bed in front of the house :cool:
