The chickens have arrived – Polly, Betty, Dotty, and Gloria are already laying their first eggs and, thanks to apparently irresistible hand-feeding with mealworms, have become quite tame and go into the coop on their own at dusk. I hope the cage and protection against predators are sufficient. We will still fence off a free-range area with an electric fence. I am more pleased by the happy glow of my wife than by the chickens, which I wouldn’t have gotten myself. That’s how it should be; I have my toys too. I wonder which one that might be?

Yep! Without optimism and some normality, life makes little sense. Apartment in Rhodes, booked last year. We will go along with everything if necessary. Except quarantine. That would be a bummer. But luck is on my side: I will be vaccinated next week or the week after :D I'm so happy!

You lucky one.
It’s still taking a while here. We are still diligently working through the [Prio 1]. Tedious, as much of it is handled by mobile teams. Although Bavaria is doing well and so is our district.

Privately, I had expected my vaccination in late summer. But now there is a possibility from work for a temporarily prioritized group. I assume AstraZeneca is gone ;)
